Recipient Agencies

Hands For Hunger’s trucks make over 50 stops each week delivering surplus food to social service agencies with feeding programs throughout New Providence.

How We Help

Hands For Hunger’s consistent, free deliveries of food help our agencies to maximize their limited resources. Without worrying about where and how they can obtain food to feed their clients, these agencies are able to focus on their core programs, such as: remedial care, education, health services, counseling and many others.

We aim to provide our agencies with:

  • Greater quantities of food and the ability to offer more meals to those in need
  • A wider variety of food to use in meal preparation
  • A higher quality of food and thus more nutritious meals to serve
