Gourmet Soup, Bread and Lemonade Booth

For the fourth year in a row the Hands for Hunger team was delighted to host our Gourmet Soup, Bread and Lemonade Booth at yet another festive Jollification Event at the Bahamas National Trust. The annual winter event is a wonderful opportunity to socializing, connection and fun for much of the New Providence Community. We were so glad to see many familiar faces and engage with even more new friends.

We cannot thank-you enough for your support! The funds raised this weekend will do directly towards keeping our two refrigerated trucks on the road delivering surplus fresh food to Bahamians in need.

Thank-you also to our corporate sponsor partners that supported the event: The British Colonial Hilton, Van Breugel's, Anthony's Grill, Harbourfront Lounge, Balduccino Fine Foods, Chives Cafe, Super Value, Bahamas Food Services and Aquapure. We were also given generous individual donations of much needed event supplies such as: spoons, paper bags, coolers and ice.

As always many thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers, who so selflessly tackle the crowds, man the stall, haul the supplies and clean up when it was all over - rain or shine. We recognize your efforts and are very grateful to all of you!
