Scotiabank's "Cans for Hunger" Campaign

We are delighted to have partnered with Scotiabank for a special holiday, "Cans for Hunger" campaign. 11 branches and banking centers within Scotiabank displayed their creatively decorated canned good bins and educated customers and our community on chronic food insecurity we face in the Bahamas.

On November 30th, a small team of judges set out to every branch on New Providence to judge each bin. With criteria such as, creativity and originality, incorporation of a thanksgiving theme, content and presence it was no doubt a difficult decision!

Hands for Hunger would like to take this opportunity to thank each member of the Scotiabank team for a successful food drive. We are so pleased with the results and relationships built within our community you helped to bridge. Your energetic and team oriented staff truly made the difference this holiday season.
